ALS samplers are ideally suited to taking true spot samples from any level or depth within a stored liquid, to check for quality, density, or chemical purity, for example.
The ALS sampler has a valve at the top, opened by a snatch on the supporting cable.
In operation, the valve stays closed (and the sampler therefore stays empty) until the sampler reaches the depth at which the sample is required. For this reason, you can be sure that true samples are obtained, uncontaminated and undiluted by liquid from any other level in the tank or reservoir.
The “top hat” feature of the design minimises the effects of “fall-out” from the supporting cable.
The full ALS range includes samplers with overall diameters between 38 mm and 152 mm, capacities between 130 ml and 2500 ml, and they are available in brass as well as stainless steel.
