Ideally suited for use with our range of samplers, our winders are designed and made with the safety and convenience of operators in mind.
The MK 1A Winder was developed for use with our medium sized samplers. Recent improvements in the design of the winding / locking mechanism have been made. These ensure that the winder makes its contribution to the safety of sampling operations, and to the comfort of the operator. Also cable wiper is fitted.
The winding handle controls the lowering and lifting of the sampler. A simple squeeze of the winding knob releases the lock on the winding reel. Letting go of the knob automatically locks the reel.
The cable is of multi-strand stainless steel to avoid the contamination that can occur with ropes and chains. The design of the hook minimises the risk of a sampler becoming detached from the winder.
The hook and cable, together with the clamp of the support, ensure electrical continuity and prevent the build-up of static electricity in the sampling system.
